Ice Cream Kids

The event itself is simple. Parents & Children donate $5.00. You then walk into a large tent and go to as many different ice cream stations as you wish. Taste as much ice cream as you want and have fun. Once you leave, there is no re-entry.

Last year, the event included many different ice cream and water ice vendors. The participants included Haagen-Daz, Ben & Jerry's, Edy's, Starbucks, J&J Snack Foods, Good Humor-Breyers, Turkey Hill, Jack & Jill, Shoprite, Philadelphia Water Ice Company, Rita's Water Ice, Mom's Water Ice, Mister Softee, Friendly's, Bassetts, Chipwich, Fruitstix, Blue Bunny and many others.

Additional sponsors included B101, WAWA, Dave & Buster's. Culligan Water, Sunoco Welcome America, National Constitution Center, National Freight, Solo Cups and Penn Jersey Paper.

Ice Cream Kids

100% of the net proceeds goes to fighting pediatric leukemia. ALL the monies from our Ice Cream event have been donated to fund Research into Pediatic Leukemia at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Oncology Division. Doctors and scientist are using these funds to help them look at the abnormality of chromosomes and how it effects leukemia, especially AML which is it's most deadly form, and the type that Josh had.
